SJVE MEMBERSHIP ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS

There are three categories of SJVE Membership Awards:
1. Outstanding R & D Award
This award is given to individuals who have achieved outstanding
performance in research and development of VE concepts and techniques.
It is also presented to individuals or groups who have written excellent
papers, reports or other publications relating to VE.
2. Outstanding VE Promotion Service Award
This award is given to individuals or groups who have dedicated
time and energy to the promotion and dissemination of VE over a
number of years, and have demonstrated a significant contribution
to the advancement of VE.
3. SJVE Awards
SJVE awards go to those individuals or groups who have made a
significant contribution to the development and promotion of SJVE
and its activities. The award is divided into five sub-categories:
1) VE Manager Award
This award is given to an individual corporate manager who has
led and promoted in-house VE activities over a number of years,
and has attained outstanding results through his/her leadership.
2) Outstanding VE Activity Award
This award is given to those companies that have made noteworthy
efforts in VE application and contributed significantly to company
management through their VE efforts. Their successes are introduced
at one of the SJVE events and shared with SJVE members.
3) Distinguished VE Service Award
This award is given to individuals who have served the Society
for many years, as members of the Board of Directors, senior counselors,
and/or chairmen of committees, thereby making an outstanding contribution
to the development of SJVE.
4) Distinguished International Service Award
This award is given to leaders of overseas Value Societies who
have contributed significantly to the advancement and dissemination
of VE in Japan, as well as to the promotion of international exchange
of information.
5) Distinguished VE Service Special Award
This award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding
contributions to SJVE activities, and to wider general understanding
of VE, and who do not come into one of the above four categories.
